With certifications in grant writing, Mental Health First Aid, Drug and Alcohol, community health work, grief and life coaching, Shameka brings both technical expertise and transformational insight to every engagement. Her most recent funding success includes securing a $10,000 grant award from the State of Maryland—demonstrating her commitment to excellence and ethical grant practices.
As the founder of the REFRAME™ framework, she teaches leaders how to shift perspective, navigate transitions, and build from a place of healing and intentional design. Her work bridges grief, growth, and governance—helping organizations and individuals align purpose with practical execution.
A former member of Maryland’s Governor’s Commission on Suicide Prevention, Shameka has spoken at colleges, churches, and community organizations nationwide, advocating for mental health awareness, faith-based leadership development, and sustainable impact.
